Take your writing, transcribing, or other specialized task to Microworkers, and they'll enlist help from a group of qualified workers with special skills already proven in similar tasks. Microworkers has a new feature that competitors don't offer; the website recently announced in a blog post that Microworkers is now supplying prescreened specialized worker groups for requesters with specialized jobs. The use of these groups is an option for requesters who don't want to find and qualify workers, but there are a few limitations.
Hire-Group Requirement
Specialized groups are only available under the hire-group process. This is an alternative method of posting tasks with increased worker restriction, rather than making them generally available to most or all workers. There is a 10% fee for approved Hire Group tasks, but there's no campaign fee; there's a 7.5% fee for approved basic tasks along with a $0.75 campaign approval fee.
Job Types
Use specialized groups for data collection, Android testing as well as iOS testing, writing, and bloggers. An example of data collection is having a worker search for contact information on the web. Android and iOS testing games or other apps on one of these devices. Bloggers are prescreened for blogs with the desired pagerank -- PR0, PR3, or PR4 for example.
Review Requirements
The usual suggestions and requirements apply for product and service reviews. This includes the requirements of honest and genuine feedback. Microworkers performs quality review on these. See the above link for a thorough explanation of this type of task.
Requester Screening Option
If you'd rather take on the selection of workers yourself, you're still more than welcome to do so. You will have to do this for tasks falling outside one of the groups mentioned in this article or on the Microworkers blog post linked above. Keep in mind that basic screening measures such as country are available for the basic tasks, and you still have the option of preselecting groups such as best workers when setting up Hire Group tasks.
You may be in luck if you're hoping that Microworkers some day introduces new types of specialized worker groups. The set this forth in the bottom of their blog post: "Annoncements will be made when additional Pre-defined groups are launched."
