Go ahead: try to find a section of the website that isn't fully functional and operational. We've finally put the last few pieces of the website in place since launching one month ago. There are now several new features that you may not have seen yet. Some parts of the website make more sense when you consider how things might look in a few weeks from now.
Poll
Voice your opinion about the Mturk fee increases and other new major events in the mechanical task workplace. Polls are usually just a simple one-click format. View results instantly. You've probably been doing enough surveys, but this one simple click gives you a voice quickly and easily.
Events
Find out about scheduled events on the website as well as staff's scheduled events around the task community. See when articles, polls and data are scheduled to be released -- sometimes weeks in advance. Many articles can't be scheduled ahead of time if they're to keep up with current events, but this gives you some items to eagerly anticipate.
Video
Find high-quality informational pieces, tutorials and other useful videos. Both shared and site-original videos are to be posted when available. If you think you have a video tutorial or any relevant video that others would like to see embedded, please feel free to get in touch.
Format
After considerable finagling, the format of the website is now optimized. The tabs and section for featured content are self-explanatory, hopefully. Additional topical sections for articles sit further down the page and are to be constantly updated as well as expanded. Find recent interesting web links in a section towards the top of the home page. Other small sections provide a way to keep key pages easily accessible as links to articles age off of the topical sections.
Moving forward, expect continued expansion into social media websites; the Facebook page still needs to get developed. A podcast is not entirely out of the question, but that depends in part on sufficient interest and voluntary participants. Expect a periodic blog post to keep you updated when new significant changes have been developed. Thank you, sincerely, for your support.
